Asia-Pacific workloads

If your team, code repositories or artifact storage are primarily in Asia, start by testing available nodes near your repositories and team. Interactive graphics are more sensitive to round-trip latency than background builds.

US workloads

If your team or dependencies are primarily in North America, start by testing the US East Coast and West Coast. Choose a location based not only on your team's location, but also on where your repositories, caches and artifact upload destinations are.

Your rental term doesn't determine performance. The same model comes with the same fixed hardware whether you rent by the day, week, month or quarter. Factor in setup, cache warming, execution, data transfer and review time when choosing a term.

Ideal for reproducing an issue, validating an Xcode or macOS environment, running a short build batch or checking whether an MLX model fits in your target memory. Prepare your code, dependencies and output paths in advance so you can make the most of your rental.

If any detail is unclear, revisit your workflow requirements first. The configuration determines fixed resources, the location affects your network route, the rental term sets the billing period, and add-ons address storage or multi-node needs.

Choose from six available locations based on your team, code repositories and artifact storage paths. If you need interactive graphics, test the connection in practice first.

02 Rental term

Allow time for setup, execution, review and data transfer—not just the main task's runtime.

03 Storage add-ons

Estimate peak usage for code, dependency caches, models, logs and output files, then choose the included SSD, +1TB SSD or +2TB SSD.

04 Thunderbolt 5

Choose the per-device connectivity add-on only if you have a defined plan for splitting tasks across devices, connecting them and keeping data consistent.

05 Remote access
